Clear Creek Community Theatre (CCCT) announces auditions for our upcoming production of A Christmas Story, by Philip Grecian. The production will be performed in mid-December at the Seabrook Community House and is directed by Liv Marie.

- Saturday, Nov 1 and Sunday, Nov 2 at 3:00pm each day
- Location: Webster Presbyterian Church, 201 W NASA Parkway, Webster TX

- Performance Dates
- Opening Night Friday December 19, 2025 7:30pm
- Performance Saturday December 20, 2025 2:00pm
- Performance Saturday December 20, 2025 7:30pm
- Performance Sunday December 21, 2025 2:00pm
- Tech Week and Performances will be at the Seabrook Community House, 1210 Anders Ave, Seabrook TX 77586
- Rehearsals will held at the CCCT rehearsal space at Webster Presbyterian Church
- Rehearsals will begin November 10, 2025
- Rehearsals will generally run Mon – Thu nights from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Additional rehearsals may be added on Sunday nights or Friday nights if necessary. Children will be rehearsed first and released as early as possible.
What to prepare for Auditions:
Auditions will consist of a comedy monologue for adults, with cold readings from the script for adults and kids.
- Adults: Please prepare a short (under 1 minute) comedic monologue from any comedy play, and be prepared for cold readings from the script.
- Kids: No monologue is required. Kids will do cold readings from the script only.
- Bring a list of your known conflicts during the rehearsal period. The production team will make every effort to accomodate conflicts that are disclosed at audition.
- Headshots and resumes are appreciated, but not required.
- Video auditions will be accepted from those who cannot make in-person auditions, please contact the director Liv Marie at livimartin225@gmail.com for instructions.
Roles Available:
All roles are available for casting. Children’s roles may be double cast. Age ranges shown are just a guideline, not a strict requirement.

- RALPH as an adult, a storyteller
- (also plays The Cowboy, The Tree Lot Owner, The Delivery Man, and The Voice of a Neighbor)
- RALPHIE PARKER (Ralph at age 9)
- MOTHER, his mother
- THE OLD MAN, his father
- RANDY, his little brother
- MISS SHIELDS, his teacher
- FLICK, his friend and classmate, also plays Desperado One
- SCHWARTZ, his friend and classmate, also plays Desperado Two
- ESTHER JANE ALBERRY, a classmate
- HELEN WEATHERS, a classmate
- SCUT FARKAS, a bully, also plays Black Bart
CREW MEMBERS & NEWBIES:
CCCT prides itself as being a place for people who have always wanted to get involved in theatre but never had the chance. We often cast people with little experience – our job is to serve our community by providing an artistic release for everyone. We’d love to have you join us.
Auditions are a perfect time to come out, meet the director, and express your interest in helping backstage, be it in the role of a stage manager, lights & sound operator, concessions, or whatever else you might like to do.
