Clear Creek Community Theatre (CCCT) announces auditions for our upcoming production of “It’s a Wonderful Life” by James W. Rodgers. The production will be directed by Jeanne Harris.

- Rehearsals will be held at our rehearsal space in Webster Presbyterian Church, 201 W. Nasa Pkwy, Webster TX 77598. We will be in the Education Building, 2nd floor..

Production Details:
Performance Dates:
- Performances will run for 2 weekends, Nov 13 – 22, 2026: Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00pm for a total of 8 performances.
- Tech week rehearsals will be the week of Nov 8 – 12
- Performances and tech week rehearsals will be at The Jet-PAC, 17060 Saturn Ln, Houston Tx
- Rehearsals will generally be week nights from 7pm to 9:30pm, with some possible weekends. A full rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions.
What to prepare for auditions:
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. In addition, please prepare the following:
- Please bring a list of your known conflicts during the rehearsal period
- A copy of your headshot and resume is appreciated, but not required
Synopsis:
George Bailey has spent his life putting the needs of others before his own. On one desperate Christmas Eve, he is given the chance to see what the world would have been like without him—and discovers the extraordinary impact one ordinary life can have. A heartwarming celebration of family, friendship, community, and the difference each of us can make.

- Mother Bailey, a very kind and understanding woman
- Aunt Tilly, Uncle Billy’s wife
- Violet Peterson, owner of a beauty salon
- Bert, a patrolman
- Ernie, a mail carrier
- Uncle Billy, George’s uncle and business partner
- Mary Hatch (later Mary Bailey), George’s loving wife
- Henry F. Potter, owns practically the whole town
- Mr. Potter’s Goon, ever-present with Mr. Potter
- Mr. Potter’s Secretary, ever-faithful to Mr. Potter
- Mrs. Hatch, Mary’s mother
- Sam Wainwright, a financially successful young man
- Miss Andrews, a townsperson
- Mrs. Thompson, a townsperson
- Mr. Martini, proprietor of a bar
- Mrs. Martini, his wife
- Miss Carter, a bank examiner
- Newspaper boy, age 10
- Pete Bailey, age 12
- Tommy Bailey, age 10
- Zuzu Bailey, age 7
- Mr. Welch, the schoolteacher’s husband
- Janie Bailey, age 9
Doubling possible for: Young George and Pete Bailey, Tommy Bailey, and Newsboy.
Other roles may be doubled, if necessary.

CCCT prides itself as being a place for people who have always wanted to get involved in
theatre but never had the chance. We often cast people with little experience – our job is to serve our community by providing an artistic release for everyone.
We’d love to have you join us. Audition nights are a perfect time to come out, meet the director, and express your interest in helping backstage, be it in the role of a stage manager, lights and sound operator, concessions, or whatever else you might like to do.
