We’re Still Open

March 29, 2017

Dear friends and patrons,

Many of you who pass by our theatre’s home in the Nassau Bay Shopping Village have noticed the beginning of demolition of the unused center section.  The Methodist Hospital system, which owns the property, has begun the first step toward a series of improvements to the center.  These will include better access to St. John’s Hospital, more parking for employees and the addition of green space to blend a repaved parking lot into the overall of aesthetic of the remaining buildings.

Since the acquisition by Methodist, there have been many rumors suggesting that the entire center will be demolished – this is not the case.   Our board has been assured that there are no current plans that will impact the theatre’s building for at least the next five years.  During that time, we will continue to evaluate the state of the center and its suitability for our theatre. In the meantime, we want to assure you, our loyal patrons, that Clear Creek Community Theatre will continue to produce quality theatrical productions in Nassau Bay for the foreseeable future.

While the demolition and new construction is underway, there may be some inconvenience to patrons due to reduced parking spaces and fewer entrances to the lot.  We encourage you to arrive a little earlier for our shows and be cautious as you drive past the construction area.

On behalf of CCCT’s board and our many volunteers we want to thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you at the theatre soon.

Sincerely,

Aprille J. Meek
